Farmers’ Market Update

I’ve been a repeat offender at the Bethel, New Milford, and Litchfield farmers’ markets in Connecticut.  Litchfield has by far and away the largest number of farmers present, but they all seem to have their own specialties.

Heirloom tomatoes seem to loom large these days; they are soooo flavorful and even colorful.

As for Otis, Massachusetts:  Unfortunately quite small.  But everything has to begin that way.  Perhaps with time.

  1. BTW… one farmstand at the Litchfield farmer’s market was selling…. artichokes! So they CAN grow around here! My heart throbs and pulses and purrs!

    I’m gonna have to learn how to do that!

    I get Jerusalem artichokes up the wazoo, but what I want are the real things!
